When does SAP ECC support end?
Mainstream maintenance for SAP ECC 6.0 (EHP 6–8) ends on December 31, 2027. Optional extended maintenance is available until 2030 at an additional cost, and customer-specific maintenance continues beyond that with limited support. Most organizations need 18–36 months to plan and complete a migration, so now is the time to start.
Should we choose brownfield or greenfield?
It depends on how well your current processes and custom code serve the business. Brownfield is typically faster and preserves history; greenfield offers a clean core and process redesign.
